Alone

As I looked out of the window of my ship the only thing I could see is the endless ocean of the universe, spanning so far our monkey brains can't even comprehend it, and some parts of my ship from the Slingshot drive malfunction. Parts of the drive assembly were completely destroyed by the shaft collision, so even if I decided to go for a space walk I wouldn't be able to repair it, not taking into account that I don't have the know how.
I went to the cockpit, in which almost every status light was glowing crimson red or wasn't glowing at all, which meant that basically everything on my ship died. I sat down into the pilot chair and looked at the main screen, which was displaying output of diagnosis system. There were so many errors that I couldn't even comprehend the meaning of, like what the hell is "Negative mass projector"? Of course it was also dead. Some parts were completely missing, like I know I should have tachyon-based radio because I was watching Live stream online before my ship decided to fail, but there was nothing here.
I've decided to reboot the ship, hoping that the power cycling would revive some systems, so I can at least plot a sub light course for the nearest star base, even though that, by memory, I was 350ly away from the nearest one. I navigated the menu's on the ship's computer to get to the option to perform power reset. I pressed the option, pressed "Proceed" on the warning it popped up and the whole ship turned off except for the screen, which now read "Awaiting system start up".
After a while the ship came to live again and the screen now read:
-WARNUNG: SCHWERE SCHÄDEN AN SCHIFFSKOMPONENTEN ERKANNT! SOFORT AUTORISIERTE UNTERSTÜTZUNG SUCHEN-
Ah yes, I forgot that this ship was originally from German colony world so I have to wait for my language pack to load, which shouldn't take long.
-WARNING: SEVERE DAMAGE TO SHIP'S COMPONENTS DETECTED! SEEK IMMEDIATE AUTHORISED ASSISTANCE-
"Nothing new, really." I said to myself.
I went to check for the crucial systems status and thankfully all crucial systems were operational, but there was an issue: I had no propulsion, nor tachyon-based radio. So now my only hope is to set up traditional radio beacon and hope that they will coordinate a rescue.
So until then, I'll have to be here, alone.
